The OMB was set up in 1991, when Russia started economic reforms.

Trying to maintain its position in the then market the OMB operated with automobiles and real estate. Our aim was to earn money for developing projects in medicine.

1993
Two years later, medical projects came to the forefront.

Five people worked for the OMB then.

1996
In 1996, the OMB organized the storage service and the transport service.

We also registered some trademarks. Our sales grew. Twenty people worked for the OMB.

1998
In 1998, we set up the first OMB representative office in St. Petersburg.

The Invitro, a large private lab, was opened, based on an OMB project, a year later.

2000
The OMB rapidly grew in terms of both manpower and annual turnover (80%+) in the 2000s.

2003
In 2003, we were over 50 people strong and the OMB-Ukraine, our partner, was set up.

2007
From 2007 to 2009, the OMB opened representative offices in the following Federal Districts (groupings of Russia’s regions and republics): Ural FD, Volga FD, Far Eastern FD, Southern FD and Siberian FD.

The OMB was 100 people strong.

2010
A year later, the OMB department for anesthesiology consumables pioneered a new field which evolved into a solitary company.

2011
In 2011, the OMB sales department for neurosurgery equipment turned into the Neuroproject Company.

2014
The OMB was nearly 160 people strong in 2014.

Our new project aimed at a better use of the medical lab capacity and informatization of lab processes evolved into a solitary legal entity. We got a partner in Astana: OMB-Kazakhstan.

2015
In 2015, we are an innovative company committed to sustainable development, discoveries and the introduction of new technologies.


We are 24 years old and… we are still growing!

2016
In 2016, we became the official distributor of bioMerieux and opened an office in Yaroslavl.

We are already 25 years old - anniversary!

2017
OMB released an updated version of the site www.omb.ru

On the new site, we have implemented more convenient navigation, added advanced functionality, simplified the search and ordering of goods in the catalog, and made the site available for use on mobile devices.

2018
In 2018, the number of OMB employees exceeded 200 people

Now our representatives are also in Saratov, Kaluga and Chelyabinsk.

Our annual turnover surpassed the 3 Billion Rubles in 2019

We rebranded and updated logo of the company. Our company started to create electronic workflow for our customers and organized the first client day. We entered into the new market of innovations for hospitals, signed an exclusive agreement with JVM Company (South Korea). Our company recruited service engineers in Voronezh and Krasnoyarsk. In Moscow office started education activities #self-development with OMB and OMB lecture courses

We are digitizing and optimizing our company’s processes to deliver first-class service to our clients.

We have received 17 registration certificates for Succeeder products, including 5 coagulation analyzers along with their reagents and consumables.

At the end of the year, new Maccura CLIA analyzer (the high-throughput chemiluminescent analyzer i6000) and reagents of infectious disease panel (HBsAg, аnti-HCV, аnti-TP, HIV Ag/Ab) were registered

Automation and technological improvements: we have launched an updated client portal and enhanced our technological landscape by implementing the 1C ERP system.

Expanding into new territories: our Sales Management team has grown in the Southern Federal District, with a new company representative in Crimea (Simferopol).

Expanding our pool of logistics partners (April 2025): To optimize transport costs throughout the global supply chain, we have signed contracts with two leading logistics companies (AsstrA LLC and Transimperial LLC). We also plan to involve them in customs clearance for our shipments in the future.

We are the authorized service center of laboratory equipment of leading manufacturers:

Siemens Healthineers, Sysmex Corporation, Vital Scientific B.V., Analyticon Biotechnologies GmbH, Snibe, ERBA, Lifotronic, Edan, Shenzhen Dymind Biotechnology Co., Ltd, Beijing Succeeder Technology Inc.

Installation, commissioning of equipment, service warranty and post-warranty maintenance, software update are carried out by engineers of the company.

All the spare parts required for repair are available in our own spare parts warehouse.

LOGISTICS

You can always pick up products from our warehouse on your own, or by ordering delivery by OMB transport or any convenient transport company. In Moscow, delivery is carried out with unloading.

Thermolabile products with temperature conditions of +2°C – +8°C are packed into thermal container. During high temperature seasons, thermal containers are equipped with cold elements.

We also form a cargo in pallets of individual shape with required dimensions.

CONSIGNMENT STORAGE

It’s another service solution for our customers. If the customer does not have the ability to keep the purchased item, we resolve this issue.

The purchased goods will be stored in strict compliance with the manufacturer’s terms and conditions in the OMB warehouse.

At the customer’s request, the entire shipment or the required part is delivered promptly.
